Soccer Star Coaching runs weekly football sessions and holiday camps for children across several venues. We built them a mobile app that pulls every online booking and payment straight into digital registers, so coaches can take attendance, check who has paid and run competitions from one screen at the side of the pitch.

The challenge
Parents were booking and paying online, but coaches still worked from paper registers and a shared spreadsheet. As the business grew, that cost real time every week.
Each term runs in three payment blocks, plus tasters, late joiners and pay-after-session options. Every booking was copied into the right register by hand.
Coaches had no reliable view of balances, so unpaid sessions slipped through and cash taken at sessions was hard to track.
With up to five groups per venue, coaches were counting ticks and calling out names instead of coaching.
Medical conditions, photo consent and parent contacts sat in booking emails, not in the coach's hand.
What we built
We connected the online booking system to a purpose-built coaching register app, so information is entered once by the parent and appears everywhere it is needed.
A consistent naming structure for every bookable session lets the app place each child in the right group and match each payment to the right block. First payments, re-registrations, tasters and late joiners all arrive without retyping.
How we worked
Coach requests went into a shared requirements log. Each change was built, tested at real sessions and signed off before the next.
A monthly maintenance package keeps the app improving as the business grows.
The impact
Website bookings no longer need retyping, and coaches spend sessions coaching.
Coaches open the right group, check the headcount and get started.
Unpaid balances show on the register, so coaches can raise them at the session.
Monthly billing that took hours of cross-checking now takes minutes.
Medical information, photo consent and contacts are one tap away.
Bookings, payments, attendance and results are entered once and stay up to date.
What's next
We’re now extending the app to Soccer Star’s holiday camps, where the needs are different again.
